Even best-sellers are to be found second hand within weeks of coming out. Look at your local independent bookstore if they trade in used books, or maybe your local coffee shop. If you can’t find it locally, order second hand from Amazon. Most books are only very gently worn, and besides which, it’s kinda nice to share a book - even if you never know a thing about the person you’re sharing with!
